1. Check your username and password
Most login failures are simply the wrong details. FairGo asks for your username, not your email address. Passwords are case-sensitive, so make sure Caps Lock is off. If your browser or password manager fills the form for you, it may be using an old password. Clear the field and type it yourself.
2. Reset a forgotten password
Click Forgot Password on the login form. Look for the reset email in your inbox and your spam or promotions folders. Reset links usually expire after a while, so use it straight away. Choose a new password you've never used on another site.
3. Recover a forgotten username
Open live chat from the FairGo site. You don't need to be logged in. The support team will ask a few security questions, such as your registered email, full name and date of birth, before they tell you your username.
4. Fix pages that won't load
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies, or open the site in a different browser.
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to rule out a network problem.
- Turn off any browser extensions that block scripts or pop-ups while you log in.
- Update your browser. Older versions can have trouble with modern secure sites.
- Use a trusted link like our login button instead of an old bookmark that may point to an outdated address.
5. Account locked or suspended
Too many wrong attempts can trigger a temporary security lock. An account can also be paused while verification is pending, or closed because of a duplicate account. Live chat can tell you which it is and what documents you might need to send.
6. App and mobile login issues
If the app keeps logging you out, make sure it's up to date, and allow cookies if you're using the mobile browser version. Private or incognito mode deletes your session when you close the tab. See the mobile app guide for more.
7. Watch out for phishing
Scam sites can copy the FairGo login page to steal your details. Check the address before you type your password, and never enter it from a link in an unexpected SMS or email. If you think someone else has your password, change it straight away and let support know.
Troubleshooting FAQ
+Why does FairGo say my password is wrong?
Passwords are case-sensitive, so check Caps Lock and type the password by hand instead of using autofill. If it still fails, reset it with the Forgot Password link.
+My FairGo account is locked – what now?
Repeated failed logins can lock an account for security reasons. Wait a short while and try again, or contact live chat to have it checked and unlocked.
+The FairGo site won't open in Australia
Try a different browser, clear your cache, or switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. Only use the official address or a trusted link, and avoid lookalike mirror sites.
+I self-excluded and now can't log in
That's the self-exclusion doing its job. Access comes back only when the exclusion period ends and you ask support to reopen the account.
